My performances celebrate the possibilities of improvisation, music choreographic matters and experimental music theater.
Overview
Throughout my extensive Rhythmics/ Music&Movement studies I received essential training in relevant dance methods. This includes Modern Dance technique with Annett Reckendorf , Chladek technique with Gisela Schwartz and Somatic Methods & Applied Anatomy with Irene Sieben. Those were refined with further training in movement improvisation, choreography and movement&voice.
The participation in international workshops and scholarships (e.g. Center for Contemporary Dance and The Art Salon Foundation, Cologne) have heavily influenced my understanding of movement and dance technique. This includes the approaches of Gaga Training (Maja M. Caroll), Axis Syllabus (Frey Faust, Antoine Ragot, Kira Kirsch), Laban/ Bartenieff Movement Studies (Jan Burckhardt, Philipp Gehmacher).
Along with the technique and choreographic models in dance, Improvisation has become a critical element in my performance practice. At the Berlin University of the Arts I worked with Constanza Macras and She She Pop. In the context of experimental music theatre I collaborated with Matthias Rebstock and Daniel Ott perfoming works of Dieter Schnebel, Mauricio Kagel, John Cage and others.
